Enjoyed your notes on NECC. Went to the Innovative Learning Conference in San Jose which was my first experience with ed tech conferences. Check out my wiki full of conference notes and thoughts. Even though I've been a teacher since '83, it's my first year as a tech coach.

Smiles to you -- and if you are still at NECC tomorrow -- go up to those you know and tell them hello!!

If you go to the blogger's cafe -- look for a Brian Crosby, a Tina Steele, a Dean Shareski, a Mark Pennington, or a David Warlick and say "Jen Wagner said you would introduce to at least 10 people!!"

Smiles, not that my name carries that much weight, but my job at the bloggers cafe is to be the greeter, and since I can't be there this year -- one of those will help you out.

And then let me know......

and thanks for the blogpost.....The t-shirt really made me smile.

I can relate to your post. I am thrilled when I find out that someone reads my blog. After much reflection however, I've realized that if I make an impact with a teacher or a classroom, or I am able to throw a quick resource up on twitter, I am happy to participate in the professional learning network. Writing the blog is an important activity because I teach others to blog, but really, a more important activity is reading the blogs of others, particularly when the writer is like minded, positive, and can offer some solid strategies or tools that I can use. The single most important professional development activity that I engage in on a daily basis is reading blogs. Good post....but I'd skip the tee shirt.
